Portsmouth Breast Cancer Friends (formerly Portsmouth Breast Friends) are proud to announce that we are now registered with the Charity Commission as Registered Charity no. 1204605.
The decision to register with the Charity Commission was reached by unanimous agreement at a Special General Meeting of group members, held in August 2023. Being registered as a charity will help us to continue to provide support for local people who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. In particular, we aim to continue to provide access to companionship and support, accurate and up-to-date information, and signposting to appropriate services.
Around 700 people are diagnosed with breast cancer each year at our local cancer centre in Portsmouth. If you would like to fundraise for us, or to support us with a donation, you can find out JustGiving page here. Every pound you donate helps us to support local people.
